2. Banking Support / Digital Payment Platform of the Year
Honors a financial institution or digital payment service that supports food vendors,
restaurants, and consumers through secure, seamless, and accessible financial
transactions. This includes mobile money platforms, POS services, and banking
solutions that make the food business easier and more inclusive.
3. Food-Tech Company of the Year
Recognizes a company that is leveraging technology to solve key challenges or unlock
new possibilities in the food value chain, from farm to fork. This may include innovations
in agri-tech, delivery, e-commerce, food safety, or digital platforms connecting buyers
and sellers.
4. Food Logistics Brand of the Year
Acknowledges a logistics service that plays a vital role in the safe, timely, and efficient
movement of food products. This includes cold-chain logistics, distribution networks,
and last-mile delivery systems that ensure food reaches its destination in optimal
condition.
GUIDELINES FOR NOMINEES
- Must be based in Africa (operating in at least one African country).
- Should have been in continuous operation for at least 12 months.
- Must demonstrate visible industry relevance, customer engagement, or public
recognition. - Can be nominated by the public or by industry professionals.
- Media features, social media presence, or user reviews may be submitted as
supporting materials.
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION
- Â Impact on the food ecosystem (efficiency, accessibility, or innovation added to the

- Innovation and originality in product, process, or platform.
- Nominees must have publicly accessible work, business, or content showcasing
their culinary identity. - Previous award winners do not apply (this is the maiden edition), but finalists will
be profiled as pioneers in future listings.
